you should write thank you notes within 3 days of receiving a gift - well i believe her - but she is not currently living my life. i want to say that i don't know where my stationery is - but that is a lie. so in an attempt to live with integrity - i will admit that i am just to damn tired to write them.
i have about 6 outstanding for lovely housewarming gifts that have been arriving - as well as a few pregancy related gifts - and finally a thank you for a wonderful dinner with The Dinkman & Miss J12.
Let me digress here and say that The Dinkman & Miss J12 are the most timely thank you note writers in the universe - my hats off to both of you!
Perhaps in 2029 when Little Magic goes to college - I will be timely with thank you notes again.

If you have received my gift, it should come with an apology! I ordered on line and there was no gift option, which I didn't realize until I clicked the last button. Hence, you have received not only a gift but the price. I hope you won't judge me for being either too cheap or too generous. I just wanted to get you something for your outdoor entertainment!
Besides, if someone gives a gift to receive a thank you note, then perhaps they gave the gift for the wrong reason. Don't fret. You have lots on your mind and no friend of yours would EVER find you to be thoughtless!
